We are feeling relaxed and super happy these days due in large part(at least I think) to exposure to an unusual amount of Vitamin D for this time of year; in other words we are 'walking on sunshine' :)
"we're going to California? woo hoo!!"
Sonny Bono statue in Palm Springs
A couple of hotties cruising the streets of P.S. :)
"Hey Grandma! Nice cheeks!!" :)
Gracie glad to be back in her element!
THE SAN DIEGO ZOO
(In my opinion, this animal (I forgot it's name) is by far the most interesting of God's creations! So many different animals within one!)
My boys taking a rest. I saw them sitting there talking to each other, so sweetly, so sincerely, and I had to capture the moment. I'm glad I did.
Gracie with her buddy Ryder. We were so lucky to meet our good friends (The Knotts) in San Diego!!
Flying over the zoo
What a ham! :)
THE USS MIDWAY (HARBORED IN SAN DIEGO)
The next series of shots were taken when Mark was in charge of Gracie and the camera...
THE MORMON BATTALION IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
(definitely worth a trip through if you are in the area - we loved it!)
Gracie with Ezra
(there used to be three rocking chairs but Ezzy ate one! :)
(Gracie was on lookout to make sure there weren't any witnesses ;)
Gracie was chosen to be one of the sister missionary's "soldiers" - what a cute soldier she is! :) I couldn't believe how big their guns were!
"We're rich!!"
wish she took this kind of interest in doing laundry at home! :)
"Sir, yes sir!"
SAN DIEGO TEMPLE
REDLANDS TEMPLE
A St. Patty's day picnic at night - Thank you Grandma!!
Flying home (Despite Gracie's happy expression, she was sad to go.
Just when our Vitamin D booster from Cali started to wear off we were hit with some more sunshine over Easter weekend and it felt glorious!
Came home from the egg hunt and I realized that I didn't capture any good pics of the kiddos in their easter attire so I tried, however, Ezzy had missed his A.M. nap and he just wasn't having it! These two pics were the best I got of them, better than nothing though!

Holy Smokies - Ezzie reminds me of Sora - even the same size...actually, I think Ezra is bigger :) Just like his dad! Gotta love those cheeks (not Grandma's, but Ezra's).
Oh, the new scripture bags we made - mom sewed the stuff on the top and added a little "lock" but the giant flower and initial I put on easy peasy...canvas bags from craft store.
Grace is cracking me up!
